Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the official Vacancy Notice under Advertisement No. 04/2026 (F.No.1 (452)/P&P/DSSSB/2026/Advt./5114 dated 30/09/2026) for Combined Examination 2026 to recruit 641 vacancies across Delhi District & Sessions Courts and Family Courts. The recruitment covers Senior Personal Assistant (27 Posts, Pay Level-8), Personal Assistant (206 Posts, Pay Level-7), Junior Judicial Assistant (174 Posts, Pay Level-5), Process Server (92 Posts, Pay Level-4), and Peon / Orderly / Dak Peon (142 Posts, Pay Level-3). Syllabus

Tier-I CBT Objective Examination: Conducted in Computer Based Test mode across authorized test centres in Delhi NCR. Negative marking is strictly 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
Minimum Qualifying Benchmarks (Para 4 Note): UR / EWS candidates must score at least 50% in Tier-I & Tier-II; OBC (Delhi) / SC / ST / PwBD / ESM candidates must score at least 45%.
Tier-I Language of Paper: For JJA and SPA/PA, Tier-I MCQ paper is set strictly in English language only. For Process Server and Peon/Orderly, Tier-I MCQ paper is bilingual (English & Hindi) except for language sections.
Tier-II Descriptive Test (English Language): Tests essay writing on contemporary socio-legal and national issues, advanced English grammar and syntax correction, and legal sentence translation.
JJA Computer Typing Test: Candidates must type at a minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English on computer. Accuracy is strictly evaluated as per Delhi District Courts standards.
SPA & PA Shorthand Dictation Rules (Page 10): 5-minute English shorthand dictation followed by 40 minutes computer transcription. Candidates are given two dictation attempts, and the best score is counted.
Permissible Shorthand Errors: Maximum permissible mistakes are strictly capped at 4% of total dictated words (22 mistakes for SPA, 20 mistakes for PA).
Process Server Driving Test: Conducted in real road traffic conditions to evaluate safe driving of Light Motor Vehicles (LMV). Must possess valid LMV driving licence with 2 years clean experience.
Final Combined Merit Determination: Merit for JJA is prepared out of 115 Marks (Tier-II 100 + Int 15); SPA/PA out of 85 Marks (Tier-II 75 + Int 10); Process Server and Peon out of 115 Marks (Tier-I 100 + Int 15).
Post & Department Preference Allocation: Collected by Delhi District Courts, Tis Hazari at the time of interview. Preferences once submitted are final and irrevocable.

Crucial Exam Day Instructions:

• Para 5 Mandatory Dress Code & Reporting: Candidates must report strictly 90 minutes before exam commencement. Entry gates close 30 minutes prior to exam start time. Candidates must wear light clothes with half sleeves (without big buttons, brooches, or badges) with trousers/salwar, and slippers or sandals with low heels (shoes are strictly prohibited inside test labs).
